The pressure is set by the pressure regulating element (4).
In the static position, the valve is normally open and oil can flow freely from port P to port A. The pressure of oil port A acts on the end surface of the spool of the compression spring (3) through the control oil circuit (6) and nozzle (7). When the pressure of oil port A reaches the set value of the spring (3), the control spool (2) Move to the control position and keep the pressure at port A constant. The internally supplied control oil is taken from oil port A. Control oil can also be supplied externally via port X. If the pressure of oil port A continues to rise due to external force, the control spool (2) continues to move toward the compression spring (3), which makes the shoulder (8) on the control spool (2) open, redundant The oil flows back to the tank to prevent further pressure rise. The control oil in the spring chamber is returned to the oil tank outside through oil port Y. An optional check valve (5) allows free flow of oil from port A to port P.
