Structure and working principle
The DB type valve is a pilot-controlled Relief Valve, which is used to control the pressure of the hydraulic system.
DB10 Hydraulic Pilot Relief Valve is mainly composed of Pilot Valve and main valve.


DB type relief valve:
While the pressure oil in the valve cavity acts on the lower end of the main valve core, it also acts on the upper end of the main valve core and the poppet valve of the pilot valve through the damper and channel. When the system pressure exceeds the spring setting, the poppet valve opens. At the same time, the pressure oil at the upper end of the main valve core flows back to chamber B through the damper, channel, spring chamber and channel (control oil internal discharge type) or flows back to the tank through the external discharge port (control oil external discharge type). In this way, when the pressure oil passes through the damper, a pressure difference is generated on the main valve core. The main valve core opens under the action of this pressure difference, so that the pressure oil flows from chamber A to chamber B under the set working pressure ( That is, unloading).

DB/DBW Pressure Control Valve is a pilot relief valve.
They are used to limit (DB) or limit and system pressure with solenoid (DBW). The relief valve (DB) mainly consists of main valve (1) with main spool insert (3) and pilot with pressure regulating element valve (2).


DB type relief valve
The pressure in circuit A acts on the main spool (3). At the same time, the pressure acts on the ball (8) of the main (3) and the first (2) through the belt joint (4) (5 system passage (6) (7). If the pressure in the passage A exceeds the spring (9) The setting value, ball (8) overcomes bullet (9) and opens.

The signal for this is supplied internally from the A channel by the control oil (10) and (6). The oil on the loading side of the main spool (3) passes through the control port (7), throttling (11) and ball (8) into (12). From here internal supply - DB-5X-type via control channel (13), or external supply - DB..-5X..Y-type, via control channel (14) into tank. Orifices (4) and (5) create a pressure drop across the spool (3), opening from the A-pipe to B-pipe connection. Oil flows from pipe A to pipe B, while the set working pressure remains unchanged. The relief valve can be unloaded or switched over to a different pressure (second pressure rating) via port X (15).

DBW relief valve
In principle, the valve functions the same as the DB type valve. Unloading can be achieved by means of the action of the Directional Valve (16) installed on the main spool (3).

The opening of the connection from B2 to B1 is delayed by means of a switching time delay valve (17). Pressure peaks and relief shocks in the return line are thus avoided. The switching time delay valve is installed between the pilot valve and the Directional Control Valve (16).

The degree of overflow (pressure relief shock) is determined by the size of the orifice (18). An orifice of 1.2 mm in diameter is fitted as standard. (Order type...R12...)
